MAYK
I co-founded MAYK with Kate Yedigaroff in 2011. Over almost fifteen years we built it into the Bristol-based organisation behind Mayfest and a wide range of acclaimed live performance projects. With Co-Director Kate Yedigaroff, I produced projects by independent artists from across the UK and beyond, bringing bold work to audiences across the city. We put dance on rooftops, theatre in nightclubs and cars, turned a shopping centre into a naked dance party, and let a bombed-out church hum with sound for 24 days straight.
MAYK was an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation for 14 years and was part of Bristol City Council’s Cultural Investment Programme.
